HOW IT WORKS IN FINALE LIGURE?
Usually, Bikers rent an apartment, camp or stay in Hotels in this area so they are near the beach, at 0 meters of elevation or little more.
With the shuttles (A VAN with a Trailer in the back) you can reach in 30-40 minutes 1000 meters of elevation, where the majority of the trails start!
OK, I Understand that the trails start from 1000 meters, but why do I need a Guide?!?

Depending on what trail you want to take, you will need to choose one of these stops!
Unfortunately, the majority of the trails do not have any SIGN at the beginning of the trail, nor at the forks or end of the trail, Finale it's not like a Bike park, we have more than 220+ Trails and Hundreds of Junctions, Forks, Gravel roads that connect the Trails and no indication of the difficulty of the Trail! So you need a guide IF:

You don't want to pass the day looking on the Trail Apps or Maps but just enjoy the day following a LOCAL who knows every stone.

You need to carefully choose the Trails because your level is not good enough for every trail. (We have some very hard trails in the Area.)

You prefer to follow the Lines of someone who knows the trail very well or you need someone to alert you when difficult sections are coming and maybe stop there and have a look at the best line.

You don't speak Italian and in case of problems, you don't know how to communicate with the emergency Line or simply you don't want to ride alone.

You are not a very good mechanic and in case of problems you don't know how to fix your bike or tire and you can have some problems going down from 1000 meters to Finale Again.

There are thousands of reasons more, of course, you can go alone, find trails with a Map or App, can even pedal for 2 Hours to reach the starting point of the Trails without any shuttles, but is a very long way and hard to find your perfect trail for you to do down sometimes.
