Finale Ligure Bike Tour Monte Carmo Experience
This tour starts at the FORTE DEL MELOGNO (1.028 m), the first single lift of 9.00 o'clock brings us there, The Fort there was used to protect the Piemonte Region from an incoming attack from the sea and from here we will start to pedal to reach Cormore Trail where at the end we will be in Bardineto Village and then go on the Monte Carmo summit!
Here in Bardineto a short stop for coffee and to buy sandwiches that we will enjoy at the top of Monte Carmo. From Bardineto we begin the climb to the summit, about an hour and a half of pedaling through a totally unspoiled forest. The view from the top is something spectacular, directly overlooking the sea! Here we will eat our well-deserved sandwiches and then set off on an endless descent. From an altitude of 1350+ meters down to sea level! An experience that a biker can't miss!
The descent from Monte Carmo is not for everyone, the full Karma Trail is 9 km, a very long and technical descent.
The upper part is very difficult to maintain because it cannot be reached by 4x4, so we will do other trails listed below, or if you want the Karma Trail in the condition it is in!
