🏔️ Mountain Bike Trails Around Pietra Ligure
1. Sugheri Trail
An E-MTB specific uphill Trail that runs along the slopes of Monte Grosso with rocky sections, and steep passages. It offers great sea views and finishes on top of the plateau (300 mt)
2. Fieno Trail
It passes on an old medieval path and it is a very rocky trail. Great uphill challenge!
3. Foresto Trail
Downhill trail to the Foresto area that keeps going towards the lower part of Giustenice.
4. Ruote di Pietra
From panoramic sections to very fun lines among cork trees
5. XC Giustenice Trail
A cross-country style route in the Val Maremola area — smooth and scenic, great connection trail for longer days out.
🏔️ MTB Trails Around Monte Carmo (Pietra Ligure / Finalese)
1. Karma Trail
One of the most famous and challenging descents in the region. Starting at the summit of Monte Carmo (~1,389 m), this long technical trail drops over 9 km with continuous rocky and natural terrain, used as an Enduro World Series (EWS) stage.
2. Fast and Furious
A fast, steep and unpredictable trail often featured in shuttle tours. Strong rocky flow sections and high-speed lines make this a favourite for experienced mountain bikers.
3. Revenant
A technical and compressed trail with tight berms and challenging terrain, great for testing bike handling and line choice.
4. Isallo Extasy
A technical parallel route to Fast and Furious, varying from steep drops to flowing curves through woodland and mixed surfaces.
5. Hiroshima Mon Amour
A trail that has appeared as a UCI event stage — lively, technical and fast, with varied features that keep riders engaged.
6. Hell Boy 1 & Hell Boy 2
Two linked lines that offer medium-to-advanced terrain with natural features, rocks and jumps and compressions that appeal to skilled riders.
7. Dog Eat Dog
A technical trail with sharp features and a great “enduro vibe” — best ridden with confidence and proper bike setup.
8. Oltre Finale
A flowing but still engaging trail that helps link higher-area routes back toward Ranzi and Pietra Ligure.
9. Titalana
A fun, medium-difficulty flow trail — perfect for riders looking to mix speed and rhythm without extreme technicality.
10. Gabry or Armuin
These are typically used as connectors or descent options out of Ranzi toward lower-elevation endpoints; they balance flow and technical sections.
